Morning Loop

It was warm and dry enough to hit my morning loop today. The ride is 16.5 miles with a couple of stop lights and stop signs. Rode it in 1 hour (timed from the clock at home). Probably averaged 17-18mph, based on the measurement method. I want to get a real simple cycle computer. Any suggestions?

  1. I run a Cateye Enduro 8 on my mtb and a Cateye Strata on my roadie. The Strata is the simplest computer I've ever used but it doesn't work on a mtb because the sensor doesn't get close enough to the wheel. I found an Enduro 8 for $23 online and a Strata for $45 (I got mine on closeout for $15 so i'm guessing you can do better than $45).

  2. Take it to the next level and get a Garmin Forerunner...
